God is Ready to Deliver You From Yourself

Whenever I've had problems,  I've often wondered,'Is God willing to help me with
this?"  I made this mess.  Doesn't that mean that I have to get myself out of it?
Then, one day I came across a scripture that revolutionized my understanding of
God and my prayer life.

The righteous cry out,and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their
troubles.  Psalm 34:17-18

The righteous part was enough to give me cause for concern.  If I was righteous I
wouldn't be in this mess... BUT!  The righteous man is not a perfect man.  The
bible talks about righteous men all the time but none were righteous, no, not
one.  Jesus came and was the only man who never sinned.  What the bible
describes as a righteous man is one who agrees that God's way of doing things
and His laws are the only way, and that man repents and asks for atonement
when he falls short. That's a righteous man.

So, I looked up the word,
trouble, and what a glorious day that was.   Trouble
means anything which causes us worry or distress.   Are you worried or
distressed?  Then your problems fit the description of what God will deliver you
from.

It was hard to believe that God would deliver me out of my problems because
most of them I caused.  Don't I have to pay for this?  Isn't that justice?  Not
exactly the kind of justice God is interested in pursuing.  God is interested in
pursuing the kind of justice that restores, not the justice that demands
punishment.  If you've had something taken from you, then God wants to restore
it to you.  At the same time, if the person who took something from you was truly
repentant, God is not interested in prosecuting them to the fullest, or at all.  God
delights in mercy and forgiveness, not in punishment.

Eze 18:21,30 (NIV) "Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked?
declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from
their ways and live?... Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will
not be your downfall.

We worry about our problems because we are worried about paying the price
for them.  In one way, we don't want to take responsibility for whatever we did
because responsibility means making restitution but, in God's economy, taking
responsibility is acknowledging our shortcomings, repenting, and then seeking
Him for help. Repentance means to turn away from, but to do that we need
God's help to change.  God will probably speak to you about taking certain
actions but when you team up with Him it will be easy.  His yoke is easy and His
burden is light.  He will carry your burden for you and whatever He asks you to
do will seem easy.

All God wants is for us to repent of whatever got us in trouble in the first place,
and then for us to ask Him for help so He can help us.

The righteous cry out,and the Lord hears, and the Lord hears and delivers
them out of all their troubles.  Psalm 34:17-18

God wants to help us out of all of our troubles simply because He is good.
Matthew 5 says that God causes the sun to shine and rain to fall on the wicked
and the righteous because He is good.  Rain and sunshine mean food and
prosperity, without which people starve.  Jesus said this is how God is all the
time.  He is good which means He continually blesses people without regard for
whether they deserve to be blessed or not.

You have not because you ask not......

We just have to ask for His help and deliverance and to know deep down that
God wants to help us and He isn't interested in making us slaves to repay for our
mistakes.  In any scripture that I can think of where God promises deliverance to
people it was after they asked to be delivered.  If you have not, it may be
because you asked not.

God wants to restore us, redeem us, deliver us, and help us - regardless of
what we did to get in the mess in the first place.

He wants us to:

  • Acknowledge where we missed the mark.
  • Be determined to get it right, starting with repenting.
  • Ask Him to help us because without Him we can do nothing.
  • Ask Him to deliver us of our problems.

Now, if you are in a mess that isn't your fault, lucky you - you get skip a few steps but
nevertheless, Rejoice and REST because our God is not just a good God, He is a
great God and He will deliver us out of ALL our troubles!  He is still God, and He is still
on the throne; and that's what He does.

Knowing God

I have been praying and studying the bible to get to know who God is so that I
can rid myself of my preconceived notions.  I was raised with a view of God that I
don't believe accurately represents Him at all.

Recently, I prayed that God would give me a revelation of His love first and the
posts below reflect the revelation that He's given me.  He is amazing.  Ask and
you shall receive.  I asked for a revelation and within a week, I had one.

I've also wanted to know who He really is so I'm asking Him to show me and this
is where He has begun to take me.  Without trying to, I've always thought of Him
as they guy in heaven who loves me when I am doing my best and turns His face
from me when I'm not.  I have a hard time drawing near to Him when I'm less
than perfect.  I imagine that I feel like Adam and Eve felt.  They hid from God
when they sinned but the same thing that caused them to sin is why they sinned
in the first place.  They didn't truly know God.  If they did, they wouldn't have
taken the fruit.  They would have trusted what God said and not listened to
anything contrary.

Then, if they knew Him, they would have run to Him instead of away from Him
because they would have known that although He loves justice He is full of mercy
and grace.  God's love for justice is that He will not leave His people without it,
not that He demands payment for sins because of justice sake.  God's love for
justice is meant for the good of those He loves and it has nothing to do with His
desire to punish the unjust.  God's punishments are meant to save people, not to
harm them.  God loves justice for those who have been wronged, not because
He loves to dole out penalties.

Eze 18:21,30 (NIV) "Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked?
declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from
their ways and live?... Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will
not be your downfall.

Rom 1:18 (Wey) For God's anger is being revealed from Heaven against all
impiety and against the iniquity of men who through iniquity suppress the
truth. God is angry.

Matthew 18:6 (NIV) “If anyone causes one of these little ones—
those who
believe in me
—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large
millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

God is angry when people prevent others from being saved from their sins.
God's anger and wrath are in direct proportion to His love because they are a
born of His love and His desire to see people saved for all eternity.  Not much
makes me madder than to hear someone distort the truth of, or mislead others
from, God's plan of salvation.  That's a line you just don't cross with me and the
same is true for God.  He is zealous when it comes to salvation of mankind.  He
is a very protective Father who becomes very scary, very fast when you mess
with His kids.

Who are His kids?  We all are.  He wants us all to choose to be His.  He loves
every single one of us with His perfect love.  His will is that NONE shall perish.
He doesn't want to punish anyone.  He wants to  live happily ever after - but
when people get in the way and purposely try to prevent God's loved ones from
coming to Him.... God's got wrath, forget about the milk.  God's wrath is directed
toward those who prevent people from becoming His family by being saved
through the blood of Christ - and His wrath is because He loves us so very much.

God IS LOVE

First, His love for us is not dependent on our behavior.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners,
Christ died for us.  Romans 5:8

God so loved all who were in the world that He sent His only begotten son that
whosoever should believe on Him would not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

When we are less than perfect His Beautiful Character covers us.  His grace is
sufficient in our weakness for when we are weak His strength (grace) is
demonstrated, made complete, and perfect.  If we were never in need of grace,
there would be no need for grace.  But
we do need grace and God has enough
to cover all of our sins.

God's grace was described to me in a way that impacted me to my very core:

Justice is getting what we deserve.  Punishment for our crimes.

Mercy is not getting what we deserve.  Being freed from the debt we owe for our
crimes.

Grace is getting God's favor when we deserve punishment.

His grace is sufficient for us.  He gives us favor and blessings even when we
don't deserve it.

Matthew 5 says that God causes the sun to shine and rain to fall on the wicked
and the righteous because He is good.  Rain and sunshine mean food, without
which people starve.  Jesus said this is how God is all the time.  He continually
blesses people without regard for whether they deserve to be blessed or not.

How can we have faith without truly knowing God?  Without knowing exactly what
He will do in any given situation?

I was at a church service one day with a man praying opening prayer who's son
had just gone to war in Iraq.  The sorrow in this man's prayer, as he prayed for
his son's safety, was palpable.  It could literally be felt.   He was grieving over his
concerns for his son's safety.

Right then, God spoke to me with a message for that man, he said, "Take
comfort in My goodness."

I have ever since then applied that to every situation in my life.  I relax and take
comfort in His goodness.

Seeing Him Through His Word

God revealed to me in a very profound way that who He is is who He tells us to
be.  He is not a hypocrite.  He doesn't give us a burden to carry that He Himself
is not already carrying.  If His word tells us to do something, He is doing it.   If
you see a command in the bible, meditate on how awesome it is that God is that
very thing He wants us to grow into being.

The I Corinthians 13 scripture on love is a great example of Who God is.

Love is...........  GOD

Patient

We need patience from Him because we make mistakes and it takes a while
for us to get it right. - if we ever do.  Until we do get it right, which we can only do
by Him and through Him, we need patience.  He has patience which allows Him
to wait happily and lovingly while we continue to try to get it right.  God isn't up in
heaven smacking himself in the head because we've messed up again.  He is
not surprised by us.  He knows everything we will ever do wrong and He chose
us anyway.

His word says:
I have chosen you and have not cast you away.  Isaiah 41

I've never really rejoiced over scriptures which call us to be patient until I realized
that GOD is patient.  Glory!  Think of what a blessing it is to those on the
receiving end of our patience.  When I realize that patience calls for me to not
react to something that would provoke my ugly emotions, I rejoice knowing that
God is patient with me.

I think of a plump and cuddly grandmother holding a jar of cookies who gently
intercedes between parent and child, saying, "Oh, don't punish him.  He didn't
mean it."

Jesus did that very thing with the woman caught in adultery. He was patient and
merciful and the most amazing part is that HE IS ALWAYS merciful and patient
when we fail.  He is in heaven right now interceding on our behalf
exactly that
way
because He loves us patiently.

The bible says to forgive your brother 7 x 70 when he commits the same sin
over and over.  That means that God forgives us
at least that much.

To Be Continued

Next:  Love means never having to say you're sorry.

You Are Not a Disappointment to God

You are not a disappointment to God. Disappointment happens when we expect
one thing and get another.  God knew exactly what He was getting when He got
us.  He knows everything.

We may not always please Him with perfect behavior but we are never a
disappointment to God.  He knew exactly what to expect when He chose each of
us, and He always loves us in spite of our imperfections.

No matter what He will never love you more, or less, than He does right now.

God Loves You No Matter What

God's love for us is not linked to our behavior, perfect or otherwise.  His love is
unconditional.  He loves us no matter what.  Even when we have reached the
lowest that we can ever go, God still loves us.

God could change us in an instant if we asked Him to.  He could change us into
perfectly holy people but He doesn't because He loves us as they way we are
and His grace is sufficient for when we are weak (aka not perfect).   One of His
abounding and great strengths is His grace, which is displayed
by our
weaknesses.  If God never
had occasion to use His grace, it would never be
displayed and we would never see His Amazing Grace.  His grace is meant to
be used.  When we are weak, He is strong.  When we are not perfect, His
perfect love loves us and His patience allows Him to love us while we are still
babies in godliness.

Our culture, especially if you were raised Catholic, or like I was, makes us feel
like God's love for us is dependent on our behavior.  God won't love us if we
aren't perfectly behaved.  But that is SO far from the truth.  Our love for Him is
directly related to our actions but that's another message.  This message is
about God's
unconditional love for us.

God says that love, or whatever is in our hearts, will be exposed by our actions.
When I asked God what love was He showed me Jesus on the cross. While the
world was still sinning God showed His love by sending Jesus.  When Jesus
was being crucified, He showed His love by forgiving those torturing Him.  They
continue to love us while we are yet sinners and they prove it by their actions.

When Jesus encountered the woman caught in adultery He showed His love for
her by His actions.  He saved her life.  He wasn't interested in her getting her just
rewards... which was death.  He wasn't interested in giving her a good tongue
lashing.  What He was interested in was expressing how much He loved her by
coming to her aid in spite of what she deserved.  He expressed what was inside
of Him by His actions.  He expressed mercy, love, and grace.  Jesus said that if
you've seen me, you've seen the Father.

Jesus never demanded people pay for their sins.  The two most poignant
moments when His desire for swift justice would have been when the woman
was caught in adultery or when they were murdering Him.  At both of the times
He showed what He was made of:      Love, forgiveness, and mercy.

Think about it.  Those two examples are right up there at the top of the chart of
the all time greatest hits in the sinners lineup.  If God shows abundent mercy and
love to murderers, prostitutes, and adulterers, He has that much love for us; at all
times.
God's love for you and I is everlasting.  It will never, never, never, end.

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
Jeremiah 31:3 NIV

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
His faithful love endures forever.
2Give thanks to the God of gods.
His faithful love endures forever.
3Give thanks to the Lord of lords.
His faithful love endures forever.
4Give thanks to him who alone does mighty miracles.
His faithful love endures forever.
5Give thanks to him who made the heavens so skillfully.
His faithful love endures forever.
6Give thanks to him who placed the earth among the waters.
His faithful love endures forever.
7Give thanks to him who made the heavenly lights—
His faithful love endures forever.
8the sun to rule the day,
His faithful love endures forever.
9and the moon and stars to rule the night.
His faithful love endures forever.
10Give thanks to him who killed the firstborn of Egypt.
His faithful love endures forever.
11He brought Israel out of Egypt.
His faithful love endures forever.
12He acted with a strong hand and powerful arm.
His faithful love endures forever.
13Give thanks to him who parted the Red Sea.a
His faithful love endures forever.
14He led Israel safely through,
His faithful love endures forever.
15but he hurled Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea.
His faithful love endures forever.
16Give thanks to him who led his people through the wilderness.
His faithful love endures forever.
17Give thanks to him who struck down mighty kings.
His faithful love endures forever.
18He killed powerful kings—
His faithful love endures forever.
19Sihon king of the Amorites,
His faithful love endures forever.
20and Og king of Bashan.
His faithful love endures forever.
21God gave the land of these kings as an inheritance—
His faithful love endures forever.
22a special possession to his servant Israel.
His faithful love endures forever.
23He remembered us in our weakness.
His faithful love endures forever.
24He saved us from our enemies.
His faithful love endures forever.
25He gives food to every living thing.
His faithful love endures forever.
26Give thanks to the God of heaven.
His faithful love endures forever.
Psalm 136:1-26, NLV

Do you think He wanted to get across the message that His love endures
forever?

Every moment of every day God loves us with a never ending love and that will
never change, no matter what.  He loves us for better or for worse and that's
forever.  Everyday when you wake up, tell yourself:  God loves ME!  I don't have
to earn His love.  He already loves me as much as it is possible to love me and
that will never, ever, change.

Amen.

Living in the Supernatural - Going Deeper, Day 8 - Seek
Ye First Good Decisions

Seek Ye First the Kingdom of Heaven Day 8 - Going Deeper

This morning, my heart was seriously grieved when I read about two little boys
swept from their mother's arms during Hurricane Sandy.

I felt like, God, why give show me these disasters in times where there is no
great outcome?  I mean, I can understand the times you give us dreams of
horrific events and there are great stories that exactly match the vision and our
prayers, but I did not feel that way about Hurricane Sandy.  I felt deflated
because all this amounted to was seeing a life-threatening flood ahead of time
without experiencing some great miracle at the end.

In prayer today, I felt two things in my spirit:

1.)         I can picture people asking, Why, God!?!?  Why didn’t you prevent all
these tragedies?!?!

2.)        Why show me the things where there isn’t going to be any great glory for
You that comes out of them?  Why do I need to know about a life-threatening
flood in advance?  I was hoping for some great story of a dramatic
rescue/miracle.

The Profound Answer:

God does not want anyone hurt.  He warns us about things, in advance, so that
we can act upon them.  When God warns us, well in advance, of a life-
threatening situation, our job is to seek him for direction and to then take heed.
He warns us because he loves us and wants us to make wise choices.  The
bible says to get wisdom.  Wisdom would say:  Do not drive in storms!  Do not
stay in the path of a hurricane. If your Governor says to get out of dodge
because you are on the front lines, and especially if you have plenty of time to
leave, get out of Dodge!  If feel like you haven’t heard from God, listen to the
authorities or do what others would deem wise.   If God has not personally said
what to do, He’s leaving you to make a wise choice because a wise choice is all
that is necessary.  If you needed a more direct word, He is good.  He will give
one to you if you diligently seek Him.

When we choose to stay, in spite of wisdom telling us to leave, it is no longer
God’s fault.  God gave us free will.  God characteristically tells us what to do and
then leaves it up to us to do those things.  He wants us to trust Him enough to do
what He says to do.  He will not make us do what we need to do.  That is what
faith is:  A course of action based on trust/belief.  Faith is knowing God well
enough that we act upon what He says because we trust Him.  Faith is knowing
Him well enough to know that obeying His advice/rules, and trusting Him, are our
only options.

Last week, while Sandy was sweeping through my neighborhood my mother
went out driving.  Immediately I was reminded of a dream that God had given
me several years ago.  In the dream, my father hit a telephone pole, which fell
onto the hood of the car, causing Him to became trapped in his car while
floodwaters poured in.  In the dream, I knew that he was in the accident because
of bad choices but, when I woke up I did not understand what it meant.  I did not
understand what bad choices had to do with a car accident and I was very upset
at the thought of my father in this situation so I put out a prayer request.
However, I did not mention the part that bad choices were the cause of the
accident.  I just mentioned the dream and asked for prayer.

Then, another dream interpreter responded to my prayer request and said that
she felt my dad needed to make better choices.  Well, that probably applies to
everyone.  We all could make better choices.  However, what the dream really
was about was this message.  The message to Seek God First and to Make
Wise Decisions.  The dream was not personally about my dad it was a
prophetic revelation about this very situation.  My dad was a symbol for people
in general, and why they sometimes find themselves in these kinds of
situations.  It's because we need to continue to seek God and to make the right
choices.

The bible says, Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God.  This is a daily principle not
just a disaster is imminent principle because if you wait until then chances are
you are not going to be able to be quiet enough to hear Him in your spirit.  Man
cannot live on bread alone but by every Word that God speaks.  We need bread
daily and to like a supernaturally spiritual life we need to seek God for our daily
bread before we do anything.   Doing this first, on a daily basis is the epitome of
walking with God.

Earlier in the week, we talked about seeking the Kingdom of God and how
pursuing peace is part of that because pursing peace is a huge part of walking
with God, but an even bigger part of living a supernatural spiritual life is by
seeking Him before you do anything because without Him there is no
supernatural, spiritual anything.

I began to do this daily because when I was seventeen, while my boyfriend and I
sat on a concrete freeway divider after getting a flat tire, I was hit by an
oncoming car.  I spent three weeks in the hospital and another three weeks in a
hospital bed in my parent’s living room.  As a result, for many, many years, I was
terrified whenever I was in a car. This meant I hardly ever left my house unless it
was a trip to the grocery store. The terror that I felt every single time I was a
passenger felt like the terror a person would feel if they were tied to a railroad
track. It felt like the terror you would feel knowing disaster was imminent but you
could do nothing about it.

After years of this, one day I was just tired of being terrified and I remembered a
story about a guy who didn't get on an airplane because God spoke into his
spirit that the plane was going to malfunction.  Right after the plane took off, that
was exactly what happened.  I thought, God is not a respecter of persons, if that
man can hear from God I can hear from Him too!  Determinedly, I started a fast
and started seeking God every morning.  I decided I was going to stay in prayer
long enough that if God had something important to say to me, He would have
plenty of time to say it.  I had faith in God’s goodness that if I gave Him time to
tell me something that I needed to hear for my personal safety, He would.

Well, God went one-step better.  Not only did He give me daily direction, He
started showing me the future. While I fasted and sought Him he opened up a
whole new world to me.  I started flowing in supernatural, prophetic revelations
on a daily basis.  My life has never been the same.  Ever since then, I have had
a supernatural, prophetic gift that has changed my life and has literally helped
people all over the world.  By trusting Him and seeking Him diligently, with all my
heart, He freed me from a life of terror and gave me a brand one.

Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God for your daily pray, and get wisdom to make
wise choices.

Living in the Supernatural Day 7, Blessed are those who
aren't perfect and don't quit trying to be perfect!

Going deeper in God does not mean that we must be perfect to get there. God
understands our imperfections and weaknesses because Jesus is there
interceding for us at His right hand and God is willing to forgive them and He
doesn't hold them against us nor make us make up for them to get back into His
good graces. Jesus did that for us! What blesses God is our efforts to please
Him.

God tells us to forgive our brothers 7 x 70 times A DAY because this is what He
does. He never asks us to do something that he doesn't do. If God is asking us
to forgive over and over it is because He is willing to forgive us for the same
mistakes over, and over, and over, whenever we truly repent (repent means to to
earnestly and honestly make an effort to change the wrong behavior).

Living in the Supernatural Day 6 - Plug Into the Vine

We humans have a way of running to people or  prophets when we need an
answer from God, but who we need to run to is God.  Unfortunately, not many
people know how to hear from God, or perhaps they don't believe that God will
speak directly to them.  Many people think that He only speaks directly to
ministers, prophets, or even only to the people in the bible but, I can tell you that
is simply not so. This is how you get there.....

God WANTS to talk to each of us individually and personally, but it takes effort
on our parts.  The bible says:  Seek and You will find.  Knock and it shall be
opened.  Ask and you shall receive.  Jesus said, I am the vine and you are the
branches, apart from Me you can do nothing.  It is quite possible for the branch
to separate from the vine, and in that state you can do nothing.

What we need to do daily is to plug into the vine.  This takes effort.  We need to
seek, knock, ask, or whatever it takes, to find God daily.  For me, finding him
can be forty minutes spent in serious worship, or through eight hours of bible
study. The way that I connect with God can be different all the time but the one
thing that remains the same is the effort it takes on our part, and making the
effort is biblical.

Jesus had to go up on a mountain, or He went apart from the disciples on His
own, or He stayed on the other side of the Sea to be by Himself, all in an effort to
seek God.  Jesus had to pray, He had to fast, He had to seek God, even Jesus
Christ had to follow this principle to get with God.  He had to take time away
from what He was sent to do, and what he needed to do, to seek God, in order
to plug in.

Jesus said that the miraculous things that He did, and the supernatural life He
lived, we should be living also.  He said, whatever He said, or did, He first saw
or heard God do.  We can only do that by connecting with God.  To connect with
God, WE must make the effort to go to Him.  God is always in the same place,
on His throne, waiting to hear from us.

By seeking God you will hear from Him.  He will show you things before they
come to pass.  He will give you guidance.  He will give you revelation knowledge
of things that you had no earthly way of knowing.  But the greatest of all is His act
as the Comfortor.  He will be there encouraging and uplifting you when nobody
else possibly can.  Take the time daily to do whatever you need to do to get in
God's presence and the fullness of the life you live will be indescribable.

Living in the Supernatural Day 5 - Drawing Closer to God by
Winning Battles with your Flesh!

Most the time our battles in life aren't won because we don't start out our day on
the right foot. God once told me, You can't win a war without a plan. Start each
day in prayer and, with the help of the Commander & Chief, you will win battles
on a daily basis. By taking the time with God, you will be reminded that you do
not want to ___________. (Fill in the blank with whatever you struggle with... Ie.
Overreacting to others, overeating, succumbing to road rage, etc.)

Whatever battle you are facing, start with God and you will have success daily!
With a daily plan, you will have victory!

Living in the Supernatural Day 4 - It's Sunday:   If you can, Go

Living in the Supernatural Day 3 - Prophesied Flooding

This is typical of life in the supernatural.  Being shown things before they
happen... is why we are encouraging you to dig deeper!

A few weeks ago I posted a dream that I had which prophesied flooding coming
within the month. I urged people to pray with me that the Lord would protect His
people during this thing. As this situation worsens PLEASE pray with me that
He would intervene. We are here for things like this.

In the news this morning:

"Be forewarned," Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy. "Assume that you will
be in the midst of flooding conditions, the likes of which you may not have
seen at any of the major storms that have occurred over the last 30 years."

Living in the Spiritual Supernatural - Day 2!

Going Deeper: A River Between Us

Many years ago the Lord gave me a dream. The king was on one side and I
was on the other and there was a river between us.

Instantly, I knew that it was something in my life that was keeping me from being
on His side of the river aka in His presence.

Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God
22and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and
do what pleases him.

When we do not have confidence we cannot boldly approach the throne of God
because we feel guilt. Whatever is in our lives keeping us from God's presence
needs to go! We need to ask ourselves: What is keeping me from the King?
And then, work on getting rid of that thing.

Living in the Spiritual Supernatural - Day 1!

Ingredients for God's presence: Pursue Peace!

My journey into the prophetic began by earnestly seeking to hear from God. The
Lord spoke this verse to my heart: "Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and all
these things shall be added unto you..."

I thought, How do I seek the Kingdom of Heaven?

I looked up every scripture in the bible and came to this one: The Kingdom of
Heaven is righteouseness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

1.) Become righteous by being born again and accepting what Jesus did for
me. Check.

2.) Peace - Bible says I am to pursue it. I began to do that by running from
situations that would not nurture a peaceful environment. That's what the Holy
Spirit does, He withdraws from our presence when we remain in this
environment.

3.) Joy - In HIS PRESENCE there is fullness of joy!

The Kingdom of God is becoming born again, pursuing peace.  Doing this
brings us into His presence, which is where we find amazing joy!

In your effort to pursue peace, you very well might have to FLEE from things that
you can't possibly remain in the presence of while still maintaining your peace.
These might be people, places, or things.  Part of staying in peace is knowing
what things or sometimes even what people will steal your peace.  We would all
like to think that we are strong enough and spirit filled enough to handle every
situation but sometimes being a mature Christian is knowing when to RUN from
things that you cannot handle in your natural flesh.

This all brings me, by experience, to testify to you that the only thing keeping you
from the amazing supernatural presence of God is YOU! Seek, draw near, and
pursue! Let's go!
